I have a 2022 Lariat waiting on the dealer lot.hip hold! Brake controller ship hold!

Dealer says the software fix could be weeks! I have heard it's already out. What's the real scoop?

 

it is out already, now when the dealer can get it in to reflash, thats a whole different story

in theory yes as long as they have a good internet connection and good laptop

 

My 2021 is going in tomorrow for the reflash. According to my dealer, they have what they need to do the reprogramming and told me to count on about 1 hour to complete.

 

Truck was in the dealer for APIM swap yesterday, they did the flash while there.

 

Had my appointment today...reprogrammed in about 20 minutes. No big deal. Got the paperwork and left. Happy that my brake controller will once again be reliable. Not fun finding out the brakes aren't working when you're towing 8200lbs through NC.

 

Two Canadians, happily towing our trailer on holiday in your beautiful state when we received notice of a critical recall on our F150. The recall had to do with the trailer brake control malfunctioning, something we're grateful didn't happen while tooling around Zion.



We called Labrum Ford this morning and spoke with Logan. What an amazing guy! He researched the recall, got the necessary information for the software fix, and fit us into his schedule just a few hours later. In and out in less than half an hour!



This is the best example of customer service we've experienced ... ever.
