Default 2021 Push Button Start Manual Key Question

Truck is 2 months old. Today I was putting a paper into the upper door shelf and while doing this I noticed something shiny lying on the bottom shelf. It turned out to be a manual key. Literally just a piece of steel. I tried it and it opened my drivers door. I’m thinking like what is this all about. I thought the truck only came with two key fobs of which manual keys were enclosed into each fob. I’m totally stumped. Are 2021s coming with 3 keys now? Why wouldn’t the dealer have told me about this. It’s crazy that I find a key just lying there. Opinions please. Thanks.

They used to be included ih the owner's manual packet but with no owners manual, they must just throw them in the glove box?

is it also supposed to be able to open the driver’s door? When I tried it, it did open the driver’s door. I get it off it was for the above that you listed but it also opens the driver’s door. Does this seem right?

If you pull the hard key out of your fob, which is there to allow you to unlock the door should the electronic lock fail, the key features will be the same as the hard key you found in your glove box.
