Default 2021 Leasing

Not sure if a lease thread has been started for the 2021 but has anyone leased a new 2021?

My 2021 is leased, signed last Thursday. The high residual on F-150s has always made them attractive for it.

If you're not on A/D/X plan, leasing deals suck right now, just like purchases... no meaningful discounts/incentives, and standard market residuals.

Leased a Lariat 502a, fx4, 20 inch wheels when Ford was running a promotion for an $89/week on factory orders, signed the lease on March 13 and the truck was built April 30 but is waiting for a chip. Lease deals at this point are not good.

How do those types of leases work in Canada? We don't have deals in the US, at least from Ford, where they describe payment on a per week basis. It's always per month. Are you getting payments deducted every week, or do they actually extrapolate it out to monthly payments? Like, let's say you started the lease on a Tuesday. In June there are five Tuesdays, so you would pay a higher "monthly" payment on your truck than in May, which has only four. Or is it just typical in CAN to have weekly payments so you don't even think of it in monthly terms?

I remember when Ford announced that....I seriously thought about moving to CA! That's a crazy-good lease deal!

While the residuals are very good, Ford's lease rate is VERY high.

I am leasing my new 2021 in Canada. Ended up with a 2.9% lease rate for 48 months. Like others, who knows when I will actually get the truck though.

The weekly number is just for marketing. When you sign the lease you can choose between a monthly or bi-weekly payment.
