I wanted the new continental with the suicide doors when it came out but didn't have a spare 100k haha.

The main difference I see between the 2 window stickers above, in a 6 year span, is a 20K price difference. Wow, these things are starting to get prohibitively expensive for us regular Joes.

10k?!

That's a >20% price increase. Ford would be killing Lariat suicide with that big of an increase, even in the best of times (not post-COVID).

Your being sarcastic rught?
On those two window stickers, it's a 2010 supercab lariat vs a 2016 super crew platinum. Of course there is a 20k difference

True, but that is not why I posted the comparison. My Lariat had all the safety bells and whistles available in 2010, but look at all the 2016 Platty safety/convenience add-ons that were not available in 2010, at any price.

Since safety is foremost, as it is with most people (see survey), that money for the Platty was worth it for me. And add Massaging heated/cooled seats, and well, that is just the cherry on the banana split, LOL. Can't wait to see how Ford tops that.

That front bumper sure looks a lot like the bumper on my wife's '19 Expedition. Is Ford going to to away with a steel front bumper on the F150?
