Default How to disable cylinder deactivation for 5.0 V8 motors??

I was in the market for a current gen 5.0 V8 until i did a little research and found out that Ford has adopted the cylinders deactivation on their trucks. Anyways, i was wanting to know if any permanent solutions have been discovered on disabling that cylinders deactivation??

Here's link that might benefit you. Not sure if it meets your desire for a permanent solution

For what’s it worth. I have a 5.0 and almost 3k miles. I haven’t noticed it engaging. The only time I think it is working is when my mpg pegs out to 30 while cruising, but there is no lag when stomping the gas. They done a good job at making it smooth. I was unaware of it until I’ve read about it. I may eventually disable it in the future but it’s not worry for me at this time. I wouldn’t shy away from the 5.0s based on that.

I also have a 5.0 and do a lot of interstate driving. I have not noticed any difference in power while driving.

No issues... I can't even feel it engage / disengage.

Likewise. 4,000 miles and I would never know it exists. Beautiful engine performance.

My 21 has a button on the dash to disable but you have to disable every time you start it. No biggie
