Default 2" Leveling Kit Differences

Just picked up my 2023 and want to install a leveling kit. Was wondering why some spacers like the Ready Lift say they have an offset design which adjusts the position of the front strut to avoid interference and assit in maintaininig the natural lifespan of the strut while others do not. It also saiys it includes new alignment cam plates to correct alignment.

Why would one manufacturer of spacers like Ready Lift say they have an offset design while Rough Country does not? Do I need a spacer that includes Cam Plates? Is there a company that makes a 1.75" lift, I would like to keep a slight rake since I tow a trailer?

Thanks

Greg

AutoSpring and MotoFab make a 1.5" kit and SuperLift makes a 1.75" kit. I wouldn't worry about camber bolts/plates as mine aligned without issue on a 2" level.

FYI, Ford also makes a rear drop kit that levels the truck

Rough Country and Readylift are both inboard offset. Both are good leveling options. Readylift does come with the alignment cams, which makes it easier for the alignment tech when you are getting it aligned after. They are not necessary, or else the F150 would not be able to be aligned from the factory, but it certainly makes it easier. Autospring also makes an offset spacer.

Are inboard offset spacers better and prefered? Does the inboard offset help with less premature wear of components and easier alignments?

Thankyou

Greg

First I've heard of offset spacers. Hmm.

For 2" I prefer the offset spacers, as it reduces upper control arm to coil contact. The stud over stud, non-offset design has more contact whenever you hit bigger bumps.
For 1.5 it doesn't really matter.

I installed the Stage 3 2.3” Offset on my truck a few months ago. Didn’t need the camber bolts to align and so far I love it. I had to adjust headlights a few times. The dealership did mine since I’m family of the GM and they said it’s the best leveling kit they’ve seen and installed.
