Try this test.
Leave ignition on. remove fob from vehicle. Close the door. Still doesn't honk?
You have the only truck Ford has made in a long time, that doesn't double honk under those circumstances.

 

Thanks again for the reply’s, I’m going to take up Ford on their offer and see if they can turn this off, makes sense they’d have a rep on this forum! This is my 3rd truck but the first new one😎

I consider the person representing Ford here to be an intern. Not anybody who has any power to fix any of the problems posted. Your truck isn't broken.
