There's some info online about sanding or filing the edges of the throttle body blade on the whipple t/b to make the whisle go away. Plan on doing it myself this winter. It looks pretty straight forward

The fuel system is my plan this year also. Possibly a torque converter also.
I spent alot last year buying and building the truck and not sure how far I can push it before my wife kills me lol

I have been considering a Whipple and this is the first I have heard of the whistle although I don't follow a lot of boards. Does this only happen with the stage 2 and the Whipple throttle body? Noises like this or any rattle drive me absolutely crazy.

How's the daily drivability with the Whipple? My truck is not my daily driver but I still want to maintain everyday drivability. I do often use the truck for long trips.

Far as i know its the whipple throttle body. Might be other brands too but only hear it with the whipple guys. Every time I'm applying light throttle (25% and under) it will do a quick whistle that last a only a second. Truck drives completely stock. Just pulls harder when wot

Whipple stage 2 on mine and the squealing is constant when on the throttle at 25%. I cannot heat it with the windows up. It is horrible.
Before I had the edges of the Throttle Body scuffed It was louder and squealing all the speeds even w the windows up.
I also bought the stage 1 kit to test if it is the TB on the Stage 2 but have not had the time but as soon as it warms up and the window goes down I will be forced.

I would have not purchased it if I had known......

My wife dailies our whippled Lariat. It’s great, no downside other than fuel cost, about 25% higher between mileage and premium required.

I hadn’t noticed it on mine….but I suppose it may happen from time to time.

As mentioned, mine doesn’t do this, windows up / down / tunnels, it just doesn’t.

There is however constant blower whine to varying degrees…..all the time….

pretty sure it's just a whipple t/b problem but a easy fix with sanding. As far as a constant supercharger whine. i would look it to that if it's a gen5. There Normally pretty quite

Its not loud at all, just constant, all
speeds and throttle positions.

So @NavyChief , what's the verdict? Are you enjoying the setup?
