Checkout foster sc mods they make a sound tube that amplifies the supercharger whine in the cabin. That should solve your needs for sound.

I was running 12.0's and best of 11.99 that night. I think I only made like 3 passes.
Full weight and zero prep.
Can't wait to run @BadCon again. I know both of us should be a good bit quicker since that last run.

Hey Guys,
I actually just got off the phone with Evolution Performance and wanted to relay the info I got regarding Whipple vs. Edelbrock...
First off, I have a 2016 F-150 with the 5.0 (6 speed) 4x4. I'm in the very early stages of thinking about a supercharger.
Basically Evolution recommended the Edelbrock supercharger for a few reasons. 1. Less stress on the engine (not surprising since it is smaller). 2. Takes less HP from the engine to spin. 3. Does not give off as much heat.
He said the Whipple was actually a more involved build because it fits really tight. There was another reason that had something to do with the 'rear something' (sorry not much to go off here lol) as well.
With the Edelbrock he said they'd also do injectors and catch cans. There might have been something else in there. I'd probably do the oil pump and gears as well since that is a known 'issue'. Edelbrock also looks a little cheaper.
If you're using your truck as a daily (which I would be too) and don't want huge power I'd probably go Edelbrock. Hope this helps some.

if you tow, the whipple and whipple tune (not an aftermarket) is the only good choice ------- besides getting a different truck like a 3.5 ecoboost.
It has to do with the way the whipple controls the bypass closing and boost coming on. its very "soft" and oem like. All of the other blowers not using the Ford Racing Operating system, don't have a way of controlling the bypass.
This is exaggerated with a heavy truck in general and extremely bad when towing.

If you go edelbrock, don't buy the head unit that can only work with the stock throttle body (stage 1 non modular).
Get the "modular" (what they call their stage 2) or you will be suck with a power cap - less resale - or a $4000 option to buy the "modular" later...

Question?
Yup, I've been quite happy with mine! It is the TVS 2650. Edelbrock has redone their website and it's a major PITA to navigate now... They do have the instructions up though and it's a fairly easy install IMHO. https://edelbrock-instructions-v1.s3...brock/1557.pdf
