You guys running cat-less pipes still have a place to screw the sensors into or are you just unplugging and removing them?

I still have mine plugged in and installed on the y-pipe, as the bungs were provided. I'm running spacers and have not thrown a code in several thousand miles.

Update: I switched out the defoulers I bought on Amazon for the SPD 02 Defoulers Threeper88 referenced (thanks my dog!) about 1500 miles ago and haven't thrown a code since.

I highly recommend.

some tuners will write a track only tune

but make sure you use the tune only at the track

Roj,
If removed the light will stay on unless a tuner adjusts that, right? or is there a way to make it work without a tuner while not having a place to screw the sensors into the pipe?

benefits of a track only tune. I have a place for only one sensor but it's plugged. The other side was deleted when the Kooks long tubes were adapted to the existing exhaust. We just left them out of the picture altogether since this truck has a track only tune, and is used as such.

I think most of the reputable tuners won't disable the rear o2's for obvious reasons..not on a street driven vehicle anyway. If the tuner is told the tune is for a track only vehicle, and one is careful to use the vehicle in such a manner (off road), exhaust modifications by the tuner might be supported.

Of course if your locale requires obdII testing, then that's a different story.

I'm not sure I answered your question 100%. If you don't have a tuner or device that can do the required mods in the tune for the missing o2 sensors, then you'll have to try the foulers, that is if the light bothers you

of course if you need foulers then you'll have to have bungs welded in. Any decent exhaust shop should be able to do that.
