Trying to figure it out!
But from what I do understand is this will only work temporarily because of the ECU in the truck, limiting the added power of any false signals you may pass.
Plus, this won't fix his speedo isssue.

I could explain it in detail, but people who speak as ignorantly as you aren't worth the time. If you were you would have just asked about what you don't know and learned something instead of looking foolish twice.
Speedo can be fixed through Forscan.

Let me know when you get it. The don't know **** crowd will tell you it can't custom tune, but it can, it works really well with custom boost curves that can be easily user programmed, and even flashed while the truck is running. Also, has datalogging abilities, a great app, and some good data available. If I recall correctly, I had some of the info reading out in real time to see what worked best.
I do have a JB4 with pedal commander I could sell, but was planning on running it on my 2024 PB when it arrives until tuning is available.
To correct your speed, get set up with Forscan.

But a 5* custom tune is clearly superior, right?
Gearhead is even superior to 5* by a wide margin in my experience on a 21+.
No reason not to go custom, even in CA.

Gearhead gets decent reviews, on par with BCB before they disappeared I’m told.
Not on par with 5 star power wise on the previous Gen, haven’t seen anything for this Gen. they just aren’t as common, amd don’t have hundreds of tune only low 13 or
11 second trucks daily driven to compare to, and don’t offer powertrain warranty….

Doing some more checking now. Would like to get a performance shot. I have brought the truck to the track several times and theres a guy with the same truck - engine, doors, bed length, even color except his is 2021 with the stock 3:21 rear end, mine is 2022 and I have the 3:55. So in theory mine should be faster in the quarter. Neither has a tune. His runs 13.20 quarter, mine runs 13.80 on the same track side by side. Like wtf? So looking to get a boost, many of the boxes and tunes also say you get better mileage which wouldn’t hurt.
