Default Tuner?

I am looking to get a tune for my truck, but do not know too much about them. Have a 2011 f150 SuperCrew 4x4 lariat with a 6.2. Looking for better mpg and a little extra HP. Already have a K&N cai, I just need some advice on tunes and how much they are. Any advice?

MPG? Good luck. Power? Absolutely. Check 5 star tuning

You will never gain enough mpg to offset the $400 you spend on a tune and tuner, so I’d let go of that pipe dream now.

You can add better throttle response and more aggressive transmission tuning which combined could increase performance, you could also have it tuned to take advantage of higher octane fuel.

That said for 87 octane, the factory calibration is going to offer the best fuel economy and the safest performance.
