Default Trying to pick a tuner.

Hi there, I have read many forum and links to sites, and videos and still not sure what is the ideal tuner. I知 wondering if anyone could help me with tuner and tune. I知 considering purchasing a tuner, never picked a definite tuner at the moment. I知 trying to do some research on some gains that I would get. Can you point me to a company that could get me what I need. I知 in Canada and would like to source the tuner and tune here if possible.

My vehicle is as

2018 F150 5.0 XLT stock truck. I have no intention on putting cold air intakes or exhaust work at the moment. Maybe something down the road in the future. But I Will put a K&N air filter in when its do to be replaced.

Truck usage

My truck use is a daily driver 87 octane and in the summer I tow my camper (7000lbs)on the weekends.

Complaints / drive ability

My current complaint I would hope the tuner would fix is the transmission early slow shifts, pinging under light load and throttle response. Putting truck in sport mode seems to remedy most of the issues. I would consider going to a higher octane 91 only available if required. I知 and not racing by any means.

5 Star will be the one you want for your stated goals. No question.

I haven't tried the others mentioned, but my OZ Omega tune works very well.

Another vote for OZ, nice to be able to fire in some 93, or E85 and have a screamer....and the shifting is magic.

Only highest available octane in my area is 91, also no E85.

That's the best part of the Omega tune, it is adaptive to whatever octane you put in, from 87 to E-85. It also eliminates the 1-3-5 skip shift.
