Default Something odd when loading new tune

So every once in a while when I load a new tune the ambient air temp will read anywhere from 0-2 degrees Fahrenheit for a good while and will eventually climb to 20, then 30 degrees etc, etc. it does not happen every time. I noticed it at the track when I swapped from the nitrous tune to my regular tune to get a N/A run in. The log seemed off as it was adding a ton of timing during the entire run, upwards of 10 degrees. It's normal in that time e to see 4-5 added in but 10 was waayyy higher than I've seen before. Any rhyme or reason to this or a work around to avoid this?

Also to clarify the temp gauge on my radio reads correct even after a flash it's just on the device and on the data logs.

That's the thing though, it doesn't add timing with the knock sensor via iat.

iat adds to base timing so you'd see higher timing, but less knock retard add.

Wasn't IAT that was off, it was ambient air temp pid on the log and on the gauge.

My thoughts exactly but I have the log if you want to look at it to see what I'm talking about. I can show a comp of the quarter mile log right after I flashed the tune that was goofy compared to a wot log with multiple shifts.
