i want to install a level lift, but when i tried to button it all together i noticed i was not getting enough droop without putting bind on the ball joint. looking further at it, the steering knuckle has casting on it that reads "SHORT". when compared to other knuckles images online, it seems this knuckle is much shorter compared to other knuckles. can anyone tell me what the hell is going on?

I have 2023 STX 2WD 3.5L Crew Cab.

It's a RWD knuckle, nothing crazy about that.

 

I just installed a set of leveling coilovers and the upper control arm can barely reach the knuckle. The extended UCA is causing the level kit to look like a 4in lift. This is the only post I’ve found about the “SHORT” knuckle. Any advice?
