Default Resonator delete

I am thinking of deleting the resonator on my 2019 STX 5.0. What are the pros and cons of this?

Still on stock muffler? It won't negatively impact the sound, it'll be louder overall with a decent tone and still no drone on the stock muffler. Aftermarket stuff with no resonator can get loud.

It adds a nice bark. Have / had a res delete on my 2016, 18, and 19. Great mod, adds a bit of thunder to the 5.0
I'm selling a Corsa delete for a SCAB. I am thinking of going to a full 3" SPD delete on my 2018

I'm running the SPD catless y-pipes, SPD 3 inch resonator mid-pipe, vibrant ultra quiet resonator and a magnaflow muffler. truck sounds awesome with almost no drone at highway speed. and the "bark" is very crisp. if your on instagram search me@ mercedes_mike_m. i have a nice walkaround video revving the exhaust.

Did you end up deleting the resonator? I am looking for a 3” 304ss delete kit to replace the entire midpipe, but so far I’ve only seen SPD’s aluminized steel version in that diameter.

edit: found this At Stage 3

Won't work with the stock exhaust. I already PM'd them.

My bad. I was hunting something to go from a 3” kooks Y into my Corsa. I needed the straight pipe to add vibrant stuff in the middle.
