I’ve run Stifflers and CalTrac. Like Unbroken said dialing in the Cals kinda suck. Once dialed in they hook great, but then ride gets stiffer. Stifflers were very easy to set, smoother ride, but mine made a lot of noise. Illinois winters kill suspension. I ended up going back to the Cals. They are set for a better ride now, they hook well, but I do get very little spin with them.

I would listen to UNBROKEN, they will not help. When you launch the truck the spring actually "buckles" and rotates the rear axle trying to shove the pinion into the bed. You need a solid bar to keep the axle from rotating, pushing the tire into the ground.

I have the VAS bars. Axle wrap was a major problem. the VAS bars totally eliminated it.
With sticky tires at the strip, I turned in 1.85 short times with my 2wd regular cab. I had enough axle wrap that the drive shaft would hit the cross member. After the installation of the VAS bars, this was totally eliminated. A huge bonus is they're easy to install, and neither do they cause any suspension bind, like some that are anchored without the ability to rotate at the pivot point. If there's not some movement at the anchor point, the bars and the leaf springs will travel on a different arc, causing binding.
When I get back to the track after my dyno tune, long tube header install and re-gear, I expect to improve on those short times by a tenth or two.
