I called a small local ford dealer this week. He told me he couldn't order a 2019 until October. But I too am interested in traction bars. I've been on the Lightning forum, but these guys are serious racers and dealing with heavier trucks. These new f150''s are probably 600 or 700 #s lighter. I don't plan on taking my truck to the track. I just want a fun sport truck.

UNBROKEN is a fan of the Stifflers and said that in the past he had hell getting the VAS dialed in on his Dodge. I'm sure he will throw in his two cents when he sees this thread.

I can say stiffler traction bars appear longer than vas nars. Stiffler bars mount to frame at front and Var bars mount onto front leaf spring mount...

I had hell with Caltracs. Same theory as VAS...use the torque of the truck to lift the front of the spring to effectively push the axle down harder. When you use those type of bars you’ll feel the rear of the truck lift under hard acceleration.
Stifflers more traditional type of bar uses the torque to push on the bar and lift the front of the truck so you’ll feel the *** end squat like you’re probably used to under acceleration.
I like them for the simplicity and ease to set up. I personally don’t find the VAS or Caltracs to be very street friendly...they ride like hell when they’re set to work the best at the track. My .02

Thanks so much for your insight and opinion. I was leaning towards stifflers but without experience i was not comfortable making the decision until hearing from others who have first hand experience. Thanks again...
