Default NGK 6510 plug gap?

I just purchased these new plugs 1 step colder to run with the 125 shot. What gap should they be set to? I believe they come pre-gapped to .044. My truck is a 2013 5.0

All my reading indicates nitrous effects spark similar to the way boost does, so a smaller gap is recommended. I'd start at .035, which is the "out of the box" gap on many Coyote supercharger kits, and go tighter if needed. That is a very simplified answer, so don't get too hung up on my saying Nitrous is like boost....I'm just saying my googling indicated a tighter gap with nitrous, just like a turbo or supercharged car.

Yeah, I couldn't find great info on this for the f150. I'll start there and see how it runs. Thanks.

It's going to vary truck to truck, but start as wide as you can until you experience misfire and tighten up incrementally from there. Was there a signal you got requiring the step colder plugs? just wondering.

Not necessarily, but I do run 125 shot of nitrous and the more I read this seems to be a good idea.

I tossed mine in with the provided gap, and as far as I know I never had any spark plug related issues. Ran fine up to 150 shot.

Did you go with 6510's? I have 6509s in there now gapped at the stock .044

Yes 6510's, I ordered 6509's (stock temp) by mistake, ran them with the 100 shot for a year!
