MPT 93 PRX newest version 2011-2014 5.0
I have a 2012 fx2 5.0 with MPT 93 PRX tunes. I got one of the first versions that came out in December 2016 with almost stock like shifting under normal driving. MPT sent me a newer updated version at the end of this November 2017 of the 93 PRX tune with shifting the way it comes. I think it goes into 4th around 35 mph and then 5th around 45 and 6th at 55 mph. More of a sport type mode to me, keeping the truck a little higher in the rpms under normal acceleration. Does this sound about right for any of you running the latest most recent version? It will also down shift win you drop out of the gas and stay off the pedal. I have 3.55 gears and 275 65 18 tires. I think my revs are suppose to be 646, so that would be 645 or 650 if entered on the SCT x4? Just curious if this is the way other 5.0's shift with this same tune? Thanks

Thanks blue5.0 for the response. I also had that throttle delay when your not really getting on the gas, just a light acceleration at lower rpms on my previous tune with the more street shifting and they sent me a couple more versions to try to get rid of that. I think it is the lazy adaptive learning from me having to drive at slow speeds before getting to the interstate, cause when you hit it hard it drops the gears and the hammer just fine. I am going to keep this tune in longer and see how I like it, it just that I have to drive at around 40 mph a lot back and forth to my house so I will be in 4th mostly for a couple of miles, some 5th on straight ways, but I have hills and curves too. 4.10 gears, wow! makes sense

Actually liking the shift strategy even more now that I have logged some miles. Shifts are crisp and smooth, and truck is always ready to go. I checked knock numbers and all looks good. No more lazy waiting acceleration!
