Installed, Front and Rear LSD's, LOVE it!
One thing I did not like about my 2019 F150 5.0 (with Whipple stage 2) was the Lack of a LSD in the rear on the street. I ordered my truck with the 3.73 gears with the locker to get the 9.75" rear dif. With ford no longer offering a LSD option the Locker was the only choice with the 3.73's in my Extended cab Lariat. I hated it from day one, , it turns off at 20 mph and you cant drive with it on the street anyway and take any corners. So in 2wd I was stuck with a 1 wheel wonder in 2wd so was forced to use the A4 mode all the time , with at least 1 rear tire and 1 front tire getting traction. So I ordered a Detroit truetrac for the rear and figured what the hell and ordered the Ford Motorsport LSD for the front. Got the truck back on the road today and I LOVE IT!. You can actually drive the truck in 2wd now, it will smoke the tires allot but now accelerates wile doing it and leaves 2 big black marks. And in A4 mode now it is true AWD with all 4 tires getting traction all the time.
As for the wiring for the locker in the rear I just unplugged it on the inside of the diff, no problems. Before I ordered the diff I disconnected the connector on the outside and left it unhooked driving around for a week to make sure it would not throw any codes. No problems, I an guessing if you tried to engage it it would throw a code, so I'm going to just not do that lol.

Very nice! I'd sure prefer an LSD to the E locker as well. I'm on the street 95% of the the time and the E locker makes no sense for that. I miss the LSD that I had in previous trucks.
What did it end up costing? The front diff looks like you have to remove it to change the differential. Rear looks more straight forward.

on the front I reused the bearings, and rear we damaged one removing it so I just replaced both on the rear. Bearings and bolts from ford ~$130, as for fluid I used Amsoil 75w90 SG that was like $13 a Q and used ~4.5Q for both.
The front is a pain, the entire dif had to come out, stearing rack removed, and rear was easy. The front about 7 hrs, the rear maybe 2 (if you get the bearings in advance).

FORD lifer
I did mine and never looked back.
Eaton TrueTrac in the rear, and the FOMOCO/Torsen in the front.
After you run it a winter, and see how much traction you have in snow you'll wonder why the factories don't make LS in both ends an option.

I have run Torsen LSD's in my Street cars and offroad trucks for a long time. Everything from my 909 RWHP Viper, to my 1987 Turbo Toyota off road truck (front and rear), to my F350 4X4 Power stroke (front and rear also). It's not a full locker but the only time I have found off road that it will spin 1 wheel is if one tire is TOTALY off the round and in that case just tap the brakes and it will spin both tires. But the big difference is you can use it on the street and still be able to turn the car. Works much better then a Clutch type LSD
