Default Injectors

So my truck is a 2012 f150 5.0 has boss 302 intake, boss 302 exhaust cams and Gt intake cans, JLT cold air intake WithJBA long tunes, I’m running MPT tunes and to make a long story short I was going to install ford performance LU47 injectors but MPT say I don’t need them, but 90 percent of other tuners say to install them if your using e85 which I mostly do, any input would be great, only thing I can think of is something to do with the duty cycle of the injectors or something....truck runs great out thought maybe installing those injectors would make it run a tad bit better....

I thought the stock truck injectors were already bigger due to flex fuel support.

I wouldn't bother, unless MPT tells you your truck is hitting the injector limit for torque source you don't need them.

I don’t see an NA truck needing an upgrade.

This.

The engine is going to run out of air long before the stock injectors hit their duty cycle limit, regardless of fuel type chosen.

You're seeing where mustangs are being recommended to use larger injectors. They come with a smaller factory injector I do believe because it's extremely common for them to receive that recommendation. I haven't seen an F150 that as given that information yet though

Mustang injectors for 2012 were the same as the F150 5.0's.

OP - how do your fuel trims looks? Have you data logged your pump? Do you need more fuel? You and I have similar builds, and I even run a 125 shot of nitrous on the stock injectors. I did have 1 tuner say I had to have a bap and a minimum of 47lbers for him to tune my truck.
