are you talking F150 bolt on?

Otherwise I'm sure there are HFC's out there that live under high boost. I bet Vibrant makes one that could be used. yup, they do: https://vibrantperformance.com/catal...Path=1527_1326
Bet those puppies would hold up to boost.

Let me rephrase...every single available high flow cat on the market has melted down...even the ones claiming to be for high boost applications.

I have an old acquaintance that builds 1000+whp GTR's. I know several of his cars have HFC's on 'em. I wonder how those survive, or if it's just a calculated 'matter of time' before replacing.

It sounds to me like the intercooler water is getting hot on high speed run. The post-sc air density must remain constant so the pressure goes up to compensate for higher air temp.

That’s what we came up with as well. A little boost creep due to heat.

holy crap that’s awesome Unbroken. That would scare the pants off me. I’m at 12lbs on the Roush. Switch to the VMP Gen3 and E85 and only jumping to 15lbs. Although that makes me now want to bump it up more seeing yours is holding up.
