Default gen2 3.5EB Tuned.... Which spark plugs

im running 5 star's auto octane tune and 91 tune in my 2018 3.5EB... i would like to change plugs
1 for preventive maintenance, just in case
2 to even out the idle

what plugs are you tuned gen2 3.5EB running?

i hear SP542 are the go step colder plug.... i also hear NGK has a plug.... please refer me to a part number... i would like pre gapped to 0.28

thanks

Ask 5Star. They will likely have a preference and my guess is its the OE plug with factory gap. Everything ive heard lately said the Gen 2 is not sensative like the gen 1 to gaps and what not

Do the 3.5's and 2.7s use the same plug?

I keep seeing the sp542 for the 2015-2017, but mine is a 2018.

I had a hard time finding 542s... I run 534 gapped at .025”

6510s ran a touch rougher for me. Had one crack about 12k miles in and swapped em for the 534s

NGK 6510, gap em down to 028 on the gen2 for a hot tune. On a gen1 i'd run 025.

if you want whatever the 1 step colder ford plug is? It's the oem 2.7 ecoboost spark plug.

You do realize your 534’s are made by NGK, right? 6509’s are 534’s
