I believe it too after seeing videos of the guy in Houston with the 2018 Roush. We’re gonna try to get to Mexico this weekend to compare a Roush 10 speed to a Whipple 6 speed.

I tried to get the new tune to act up but it was solid. No crazy 1-2 at light throttle shift. At this time this is the best trans tune out of 4 tunes. After saying this it could settle in and act different in a couple of days. Let’s hope it stays good.

I drove it to work this morning and it still shifts fine. My gas mileage returned which tanked with the last tune.

Yep....Don't want to jinks it but so far I'm loving this tune. I didn't get a chance to do a full launch run this was from a standing stop going on to the freeway still with my 35" tires.
No obvious power loss at least by using these numbers.

Agreed, the best feeling 2018 whipple tune to date.

if it doesn’t learn any bad habits and stays like this, it’s a win.

One nice thing the vbox does is measure altitude at the start and end of your run so you can see if you were going up or down hill. On the last run I was going uphill .35m

I haven't noticed anything yet either. Haven't paid too much attention to gas mileage cause I been really getting on it.
I'm going to try to get to the dyno next week.

Glad to hear the latest tune seems to have fixed the trans issue. My dealership is insisting I go by there so they can reflash the truck in order to maintain the warranty. However, time is an issue. I have the Tomahawk tuner in my truck, I'm wondering if I can just e-mail Whipple and get the calibration and flash myself. Dealer claims they locked the Tomahawk to prevent that, but I'm not sure if they did or not. EDIT: Confirmed they did lock the tuner. Off to the dealer I go.....
