Sure except that according to Ford, the 3.5 in the Raptor and GT shares a common displacement with the 3.5 in the F150 and that is about it. Unless that's just more marketing bs.

Anyway, in this thread, who gives a rats *** about the 3.5EB, this is about the potential of the 2018 5.0 which one would expect should have seen 20hp and tq gains more than it did...but maybe they set it up for more low end while sacrificing top end power.

My bet is the sandbagged it so they have a few years of “increases” left to add a bit each year.

Numbers don't tell the whole story. 2018 RCSB 5.0's are now the fastest factory built F150's!

Nice, that means a solid 700RWHP for the F150's.

The Raptor and regular truck motor are extremely close. There is a guy on the other forum who has torn down both and said the difference are minute.

In the real world, where almost everyone buys crew cabs, this isnt so true. If you could get a RCSB 3.5L then I bet they would be neck and neck.

True, the 14 Tremor EB ran no quicker than my 13 F150 RCSB 5.0. Both run 14.4 on a good day stock.

Likely also because of emissions regulations as well.
