Is there a difference between a SYNC3 8" screen and a SYNC4 8.46" screen other than size?

 

@larryo108 When I had the sync 3 screen, I used to say, "No, it's just a screen, you won't notice a difference," but after installing it, it does look way better. It looks sharper, colors look higher resolution compared to SYNC 3 generally HD quality. You will notice the difference when watching a video, movie, or Netflix on it, and definitely on YouTube.

Gotcha. I may look at this down the road, but for the time being I am going to focus on just retrofitting SYNC4. I don't watch videos on the screen, so not sure it matters for my use case.

Does the Sync 4 8.46 screen fit in the bezel for a 2015 Truck? Also, what's needed to convert from sycn 2 directly to sync 4 8.46?

I have sync 3 (3.4) in my 2016 F150. Will the screen be a direct swap from my existing 8” sync 3 screen?

I’m concerned with the existing bezel cutting off the sides of the bigger screen?
