what do you mean ? I have to have that on the actual picture? doesn't that already show being that I posted it with my account so it has my user name and the date and time I posted it? that's kinda weird and redundant isn't it?

Regardless of your feelings on it, it's the rules for a reason.
3) In the picture, you MUST have a piece of paper clearly showing YOUR screen name and date on the paper and lying with the item being sold so we know that it is YOUR item and not somebody else’s picture or off Google images…
Photoshopping screen name & date is not acceptable.

No. I can take your picture and post it and claim it's mine, get payment, and never be seen again. A picture that follows the rules is one more step in the anti-fraud process to give a little more assurance to potential buyers.
