Selling my Kicker Hideawy subwoofer from my 2018 XLT. This is the OEM Ford unit, plugs right into connector behind rear passenger seat. Need FORScan or a dealer to enable once installed. Only 2 months old, trading in truck.... $400 shipped. PM me with offers.

Will this be plug and play in my 2016? How does it sound with the factory speakers in doors? Enough bass or does it leave you wanting more like the factory Sony system?

Its plug and play as long as your truck is pre-wired for it. Has to be enabled in FORScan or by the dealer. Definitely better than the Sony unit, rounds out the system nicely. If you have FORScan, you can change a few EQ settings to really make a difference.

After seeing this, I think I'll pass and go external. Thanks for the quick reply!

That post was made before I changed the factory eq settings with forscan. If you set the factory EQ at setting “0” it removes all of the signal processing. No more clipping. Absolutely night and day difference. Didn’t need an xternal amp/sub after I changed it. I am trading in the truck anyway, don’t want to give the dealer anything for free since I bought the sub myself.
