because im already glad that my parents pay my insurance when they can barley handle it in the first place....and im a teenager so my insurance would go through the roof and i wont do that to them.

to add to that fact ^^, say you have a $500 deductable, thats half of it right there, and being in the 16-19 year old range, driving a truck your insurance would already be high, and filing a claim would raise it more, and the rates will take a while to go down so in possibly 2 years it will already have paid for itself. but having to blow it all at once does suck some big cahones

I dont think id claim it either.. Im trying to stay clean.. no speeding tickets or anything and hopefully my insurance will drop below $125 a month by the time im 21.. and thats for state minimum.. ..

He would only pay the deductible if he wants to fix his own vehicle. If insurance is to fix the other vehicle, no deductible would apply.

from the body shop...........
sounds just about right for oem parts with a dash of labor thrown in, ( about 1.2 hrs i believe, for an "r&r change out ). was there an estimate for aftermarket or lkq consideration?

Were you both backing out? If you feel you didn't cause the dent due to the location, don't pay for it.

its all good, it turned out i only needed to pay 700 and i just payed it, sorry about the freak out, im just not doing so well right now

You really want to feel good about it?!?!? I bet he will just pocket the cash and not fix it. Did you get a write up or something so he can't go to your ins. company and file a claim?

i shoulda done that, but i feel i can trust the guy and if we need prove i payed him we have the check receipt
