My windshield wipers keep going after I tune them off. It's just at random. Sometime it keeps going sometimes it doesn't. I can get it to stop sometime by turning them on as fast as they go and turn them off again. Don't want to take it to the dealer if it is something potentially and easy fix. Anyone have any ideas.

 

Replacing the whole switch assembly should fix it. I personally would try to fix the switch but I think individual parts availability would be an issue. I have repaired circuit boards that would have cost hundreds of dollars to replace for just a few dollars so I always attempt to fix the item if I can.
