Windows Intermittently Working
I have a 2013 F150 Super Crew and the windows have started giving me issues. The rear drivers side window will roll down then sometimes not roll up then will roll up at some random time when playing around with the switches. The front passengers side window will roll up and down with no issue using the passenger side door switch but not when I use the drivers side master switch. When using the drivers side master switch the passengers side window will roll down but when I stop and toggle the switch to cool up it will continue to go down. My original thought was the master switch must be going bad, replaced it with no change when operating the passengers side window. I have taken it to he local Ford dealer who said they had never heard of this issue before, kept the truck for a week and then told me they couldn't discover what the issue was but they would be willing to keep diagnosing the problem for the nominal fee of $190 an hour. Any thoughts of the cause or suggestions for repairs?
Thanks,
Mike

- pull back rubber boot that connects doors to cab, with wires in them. Look for broken wires. Start with drivers door
- pull up moulding channel under doors (when closed position), find wires running along edge of cab front to back, look for broken wires
- examine/clean/tighten grounds.
- don’t go back to dealer.
I don’t know your gen, but assume it’s similar to 11th gen. Suggest:
