Default Window

I drive an 06 supercrew and have had no problems except for this one. My driver side window will roll down with no problem every time but when I try to roll it up it never wants to roll up. It's not like it hesitates or anything. You just have to keep pushing the button and eventually it will decide to roll up. Does anyone know what could be causing that? Bad switch?

It doesnt seem to be the motor...what then again I dont know anything about it.

switch, you can take it apart and clean the contacts and bend the contacts back down, but it only helps for so long, then back to how it was. Replacing the witch will get you more life. One other thing I came up with was to buy one of the cheaper single window switch and take the contacts out of that and put in the drivers side window switch.

I've owned F-150's for the last 20 years. Their window switches are notoriously bad, die with use and age and require replacement. If it's not the switch, I've had problems with the motors, too.

Isn't it about time that they came up with some parts that didn't puke after 4 years?

I took the switches out and thoroughly cleaned the contacts and they work like new! Thanks for the advice and for the guys that posted a step by step instructions on how to do this. For anyone else that has this problem I would highly recommend doing this, too.
