Default What is this

I have an 04 F150 and found this under the dash on the drivers side, it would be right above your left foot. There are plugs that fit into it but I have no clue if they should be plugged in or not. Hope somebody can tell me what it is. Thanks

that is a remote start module, its an after market, and an older cheaper one to boot. If you have the remote start fob, then it should be plugged in, if not leave it how you found it. I'd leave it unplugged, and tape off the plugs, you should be safe.

try flipping it to see if there is a model # on it and do a google search of the number. it looks like a remote start module.
