Default Some advice needed...

So here's my story. I bought a 2004 F-150 FX4 5.4L V8 on eBay (I know how brave of me) about a year ago. Truck was in great physical condition, 95K miles, and supposedly a rebuilt transmission. About three months ago, transmission blew and I'm just now getting it fixed as its not my primary vehicle and I didn't have the cash. So, shop has it now and got a re manufactured transmission from Ford with a 3 year/100K mile warranty for $3200 out the door including labor. Seems like a decent price and a great warranty in tranny.
What are your thoughts on this?
Also, while it's in the shop what are some things/recommendations I should have them check or work to do as precaution? Thanks for thoughts and advice.

Brakes, filters, shocks, spark plugs, coolant flush.

That is about average for a dealer reman installed. The warranty is a great peace of mind to have. If you have it rebuilt by a local shop you might only get a 12/12 warranty and some shops a 6/6 warranty. Diff service should be included, brake flush, power steering flush. Induction service. We can spend alot of your money on maintenance.. :-) Honestly you can do most of this yourself and save a butt load of money on labor.
