I have a 2003 XLT FX4 and I have started to notice a pretty serious vibration coming from what seems like the front end. It only becomes noticeable once I go over about 35-40 mph. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

 

Have you used your parking brake any?

I had a vibration here recently and when I had it looked at they determined my parking brake was what caused mine

I'd also check your tires to make sure they're balanced. I'd also check the suspension

 

Ok great thanks.. I do use my parking break like 1 or 2 times a week. The Tires just got balanced about 2 months ago. So, I'm starting to think that it is a part of the suspension or something... its just killing me. Thanks for the help though.

 

Hopefully it's not something too serious man. I would look into the parking brake theory if it's not anything else. Although I'm not sure if it was a problem on 03's. I know it was on 05's apparently. Good luck and I hope you find out the problem
