Can somebody here help me out
For some reason I cannot get my vcm to connect with my cpu anymore, the only light that comes on is the power light and no other ones, I tried deleting and reinstalling ids and Teradyne, but when I try to configure the vcm it will not recognize it either wirelessly or with the cable plugged in
The thing is it used to work great and then when I updated ids it lost it and now this is where I`m at.
ps I tried another vcm and the same problem

No this is an actual rotunda vcm

 

Since you said your getting the same result with a different VCM, leads me to believe it's your vehicle or computer that has the issue.

The thing is I've totally removed ids and reinstalled it and tried on other cars
And the sad part is I can't get time to get ahold of rotunda tech during work lol

 

Assuming you are using the VCMII, have you done a master reset on it?

I did a reset with the pulling power and holding reset button until lights flash then wait for beep if that's a master reset? No it will not work on any car and all this happened after I updated ids before that it worked fine

 

If you have already tried this,..




...and it still wont work, I would return the license temporarily, uninstall IDS completely including the Bosch program found in control panel and start over.

I brought it home and powered it off of a non ford to try it this time, at work it wouldn't work either though but I did totally uninstall everything but I didn't return the license this time?
