Hey guys,,, I have a 2019 F150 2.7 Ecoboost...2 WD SuperCrew,,, 10 speed Transmission....... I drive to work and home every day (40 mile roundtrip)... @ 37,000 miles.
Recently I noticed when going from 3rd to 4th -OR- 4th to 5th.... it "slips" or "misses" a gear...? A few weeks ago it like "slipped" into neutral and throttle stuck for a couple seconds,,, then popped into gear.
At that point, I wasn't risking it anymore... I have seen a few posts about it here, so looking for some help.
I brought it in to the dealer where I bought it LAST Wednesday 2/2 .... They tried a "re-program", and the transmission guy says that made the jumping into gear worse so they have to tear down the transmission
to find out what is going on. I finally got another update today saying they are STILL waiting to get it torn down,,, and they are so backed up,,,, and there is a shortage of transmission mechanics,,,, and blah, blah, blah.... That's what it ends up sounding like to me anyway.
Anybody see this before? Any advice/info/ideas....?
There is another dealer in my area,,, but I don't even trust them to bring it there...

what the dealer is saying is 100% true, there is a tech shortage right now, almost every dealer is booked out several weeks(we are now scheduling into march)

i know its hard but try your best to be patient and understanding
