I'm sure this has been asked 1000 times but...

95 f150 v6 4x4 5 speed manual
I believe it has the m5od trans
I just got it and trying to fix it up but to start when you move the shifter it absolutely will not go into 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th at all none notta zero if I smack it over I can get it into 5th and reverse pretty easy and the clutch works I can move it in those gears but I want to drive it daily so what do I need to look into to get my other 4 gears back

my guess is shift forks but I'm new to ford's and want to make sure I have already found the access Plate in the cab to get to the top case for the forks but I didn't know if it might be something else like the shifter itself

And again it goes into 5th and reverse no issue but it's like the other 4 gears don't exist like not even a way to move the shifter up or down around those gears at all. It's like something is physically blocking the path going into 1st through 4th

 

You're just going to have to look, no use trying to guess.
