The bars look like round bar stock....running from a cross brace in the frame towards the front end. If remember correctly.

The only way an 04 could have them would be you had the heritage style one with the 97-03 body style.

Yup. My 2001 is 10th generation. The years ran *about* 1999 to 2003 inclusive. They are about 4 ft long & 5/4" dia. A bolt for each adjusts fwd ride height via a cam on each that leverages the twist force.

There're probably more sublties to know. Anyone? Wanna learn my rig. Just 3 yrs old to me.

Oh. While technically they are a torsion bar pair, they are used to adjust ride height. They are NOT what is norally meant when discussing torsion bars for a "car."

THAT type of tortion bar will be about 3/4" dia, run across the vehicle and have a 12-18" right angle bend on each end which attches to somewhere on/around the control arm... to cause flatter cornering.

Did you just describe a "sway bar"?

Default Sway Bar?

Sway bar... yes, I'd say so. It IS a torsion bar, and long ago was used almost synonomously... so they can get mixed up.
Prior conversation was not 100% clear on the type of torsion bar referred to.

The.TWO bars running, on each side front to midshionnare torsion bars but called height adjusters.

A single bar, ~ 4-5 ft long, running trans the front, with a ~90° angle on each end which is another ~12-18", is a torsion bar known as a sway bar or anti-sway bar.

They are both types of "torsion bars."
I've no idea which one was meant in the GMC vs Ford (F150 10th Generation) question. GMC is unfamiliar to me.

I have both.

I believe them to be oem / stock original.
