Default Timing help

Hey guys took apart my 2005 Ford f150 5.4 because we suspected the timing guides had broken which they did. So we bought a new timing kit etc and changed the chains guides tensioners. The one cam on the driver side was also bad so we changed it too. Now we have the chains on crank gear timing mark aligned at 6 and the keyway at 11. We have put it together twice now with no luck both times it drove like it is out of time still. The issue we are having is the chain on the driver side is not tighting up. It stays slack on the up side where it should be tight and the slack should be on the side down over the cam. Does anyone know what could be causing this? The passenger side is fine. Thanks.

Two valves were bent in the driver's head. Having them repaired now.
