Struts
Hey guys.. Ive got a front strut making some noise and wanna get it swapped out. I have heard they are tricky on these trucks so I checked a local shop and they wanted $800 just to do the fronts... Now, Ive done struts before on other cars, so I know they usually arent a serious PITA, but is there anything that would dictate it being so much? If its pretty easy I will just do it myself. 2011 F150 Lariat SuperCrew 5.0 4x4

And borrow a spring compressor from O’Reilly if you’re replacing the shocks. Not too difficult. I put Bilstein 5100’s on mine and like them (and have put them in all three of my Toyota 4Runners).

For a few bucks more, you could get these, and do it yourself. Just an idea. It's a good product.

Trying to figure it out!
They are actually a little easier than struts because they are actually shocks. Hardest part when I did mine was getting them back in because I added a leveling puck to the front - it was tight.
