I have a 1987 E150 Camper van with a 460 engine . Runs on propane . It had been previously stolen and now the key won't work. I am looking to change the whole steering column and was wondering what years would be compatible. Would a 1987 F250 have the same column. Thanks for any advice in advance. It was always glitchy but finally quit working. Put in a new lock and key worked for awhile but then quit.

 

We might be able to help if you posted pics of the current column. Some vans have the shift indicator on the column; others have it in the cluster, like F-series.
