Default Starter installation question

I have an 1988 F150 302cid with a 5 speed manual transmission that I am restoring. My positive battery cable has a "Pigtail" coming off the the main (2 Gauge) positive cable that goes to the starter. What are the other wires in the pigtail. I believe there are three (3) other wires. One of them is Gray with a Yellow tracer (02 sensor?) The other two are covered in undercoating and I cannot tell the color. When I bought the truck it had no starter and I have no idea where those other wires go. I believe one of the wires maybe the "Ignition Key" wire but I am not sure. Does that "key" wire go to one of the smaller terminals on the starter? Or do they go to ground? I looked online and most of the positive cables for my year truck are just the basic positive cables with no pigtail at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, makorunner

If you have pigtails coming off the positive.. I would not attach one to ground.. that's for sure.
