Question Start issues

During the start sequence, the engine doesn't want to start. Sometimes you even need to crack the throttle a little to get it to start. If it starts without throttle, it doesn't have the customary up to 1200 rpm and then settle down to normal idle. Any guess what causes this? 89' 4.9 ltr. I can hear the pumps run with the key on, so it's getting fuel pressure.

Clean the throttle body and Idle air control and let us know if that helped. DO NOT use carb cleaner, use throttle body cleaner.

Done that, no help. Also cleaned injectors, replaced O2 sensor for a differant reason.

Do a fuel pressure check. Just because you can hear the pumps doesn't mean they are working right.

Havn't done that. That would make sence. Low start fuel pressure could do that.
