Default Speedo issues

Hi, i have recently bough a 1995 F150, i am currently having an issue with the speedo. basically it either sits at zero when the truck is stationary but as soon as you start to move the needle goes right around to 180. i dont have cruise control on the truck and am kinda baffled by this. i dont know a great deal but was hoping someone may have had the same issue and know maybe how to fix the problem. i dont know if its just a loose wire or if i need to completly change something. hope someone can help me. thanks all

You can check and clean the sensor, which is located on top of the rear end housing in the center. The wiring to the sensor has been known to go bad also so check that.
