The CalVan/SnapOn kit is one of several that are excellent, it isn't the "only" one. TimeSert and Lock'n Stitch inserts, when correctly installed, are also permanent repairs.
It's the HeliCoil and Dorman kits that cost $25-40 that are usually the problem when a re-blowout occurs.
