Coming up on my first oil change. What oil should I use. 07' 5.;L

I don't know off hand, but your oil cap should say what to use.

because its recommended.. there are way to many oil related issues with these motors to play around with simple things like oil... stick with stock and you cant go wrong... that's assuming you meant 5.4L

A semi syn blend can accel in many different situations, where a regular dino oil or full synthetic would lack. Yes there are situations that a full synthetic is not best, contrary to what every synthetic marketer gets you to believe. It's the best oil for all the different situations a Ford motor might see.

i have a 2001 5.4 and i use castrol hypuron 15w40 which is a synthentic deisel oil
