Default Problem Starting up

I have a 2006 Ford F150 4.6L 2WD when I go to crank the truck the idle will go up and then come back down to a lower rpm at this time the truck sounds like it is cutting out then it will come back to the correct rpm. I thought it might have something to do with the idle control valve but I do not have any code coming on. Any suggestions?

Default

Remove and clean the IAC valve with spray throttle body or carb cleaner. If the gasket tears make a new one out of thin cardboard.
