Clunk right after switching to 4H. Now running strange.
With my 2007 F150 5.4, I couldn't make it up my icy driveway in 2H, so while in drive but stopped I switched to 4H and said to my kids, "watch this!" Not "gunning it" but definitely showing the takeoff ability of 4H, I made it a few feet and hit the dry pavement in front of my garage and heard/felt a clunk (insert face in palm). Now it accellerates erratically and will die If I give it too much gas (gives me a low oil pressure notice when that happens). No difference if it's in 2H or 4H, seems to switch between the two just fine. Seems like the repair might get a bit expensive. Any thoughts?
